Diaspora Uganda Nurses and Midwives Society (DUNMS) is a charitable organization dedicated to improving nursing and midwifery professions in Uganda. Founded by Ugandan nurses and midwives living abroad, our mission is to harness the skills, expertise, and resources of the diaspora community to support healthcare development in Uganda. Through partnerships, advocacy, and community-driven initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of Ugandans, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
Our Services
At Diaspora Uganda Nurses and Midwives Society (DUNMS), we are dedicated to improving nurses and midwives’ professions in Uganda through various initiatives. We provide medical supplies, equipment, and expertise to healthcare facilities in Uganda. Our members, comprising Ugandan nurses and midwives living abroad, also participate in medical missions, training, and mentorship programs to enhance the skills of local healthcare professionals. Additionally, we advocate for policies and programs that promote healthcare access, equity, and quality in Uganda.
